I am passionate about living a long and fruitful life, full of vitality and strength. Its what I call “quality longevity”!
I believe in a health span, rather than a life span; living vibrantly in the second half of life to enjoy the activities we love.
We can change the trajectory of our health with the choices we make. And, its never too late to reverse the unhealthy choices of the past.
MY JOURNEY
At the age of 7 years, my mother died, aged 30. A two and a half year journey of stomach cancer took her life. This propelled me to put ‘the odds in my favour’, to not take life for granted and to look after myself. However, a lack of protein led to hypoglycaemic symptoms in my 20s and difficulties in falling pregnant in my 30s.
I had been “health conscious”, but not nutritionally balanced. My sleep patterns were all over the place and I couldn’t relax. This set me on a personal journey of gaining new knowledge and developing wide-ranging, integrative health practices that could sustain my wellbeing. Part of this journey involved getting a bone mineral density scan.
Both myself and my GP were shocked at the result – osteoporosis at the age of 55! But with a balanced approach to nutrition, and a consistent commitment to resistance/strength training and walking/jogging since the age of 45 , as well as better sleep and relaxation, I do not present with any osteoporotic symptoms.
Continuing to remain strong has been key with quality protein and calcium intake, alongside a focus on gut health for optimal absorption of nutrients - all supporting quality bone density into the future.
My journey was also a soul seeking journey, needing to find peace with my mother’s passing, and receive healing and wholeness from the big ‘WHY’ question. I found myself on a faith-filled journey to trust, let go and let God. The transformative changes I was making to my life enabled me to navigate peri-menopause with minimal symptoms and now post menopause. I have discovered that I don’t need to accept the “status quo” regarding what these stages should look like.
These experiences led to me formalising my knowledge and passion, by completing a Diploma of Holistic Wellness Coaching and a Professional Certificate in Nutrition. I now work as as a Certified Health Coach and come alongside other women to support them in their journey of transformation, with particular attention to:

I have experienced the benefits of integrative lifestyle changes for myself and I am passionate about supporting mid-life women in their journey to fulfil the life they desire in alignment with their values. In particular, I offer assistance in addressing:
I partner with Health Professionals to support their clients, or alternatively, enquirers can contact me directly. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation. Following this, I offer a one-on-one coaching experience for an initial 5 week period (usually face to face on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, but other options are possible).
There is ‘no one size that fits all’.
